Musical star Amber Davies first rose to fame when she took part in Love Island and left in a relationship but now she’s known for her West End theatre appearances
Amber Davies has faced a major blow as one of her family members is set to miss rest of Strictly Come Dancing journey. The West End star has been impressing judges and fans while on the BBC show alongside professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.
The star’s family has been spotted in the audience most weeks, supporting Amber in her Strictly journey. However, one of her close relatives now won’t be there in person to support the star, as she is moving away.
Amber’s sister Jade Davis has followed a similar career path as they are both musical theatre actresses. But her work has now taken her abroad.

Jade is set to head to Shanghai, China where she is going to tour with Les Miserables. Jade took to her Instagram story to share a sweet message to her sister.
She wrote: “Before I head off (I’m already crying writing this haha) I have to just express the amount I’m absolutely dreading missing the rest of this incredible woman’s journey on Strictly. I’ve honestly never ever felt prouder.
“The sheer determination and hard works I’ve seen her put into this is beyond and I’m in complete awe of her. You are a force to be reckoned with my girl. The way you handle yourself with such grace through it all even with the worst kind of trolling is inspiring!
“You’ve inspired me every single day this past month. Watching you work so so hard and be the strongest and kindest human through it all. Makes me cry with how proud I feel!
“Go smash it out the park! I’ll be there in spirit through it all and please everyone watching remember to please be kind and pleeeease vote vote vote team chaos Love you forever @amb_d.”
Jade announced via her Instagram page that she would be going on tour around the world with Les Miserables. She shared a post of a collection of photos from the show as she wished it a 40th anniversary.
She said: “Happy 40th birthday @lesmizofficial. The show that will forever have the most special place in my heart! Feel so incredibly lucky to have started my career in this show and now 12 years later getting to re visit and travel the world with it. Very very grateful! Here’s to the next 40.”
Amber is taking part in the current series of Strictly where she has been earning some impressive scores. She has consistently been impressing the judges and finishing at the top end of the leaderboard.
However, last weekend saw her and partner Nikita land themselves in the bottom two. However, she managed to pull off the performance and was saved by the judging panel.
Last week she dressed up as Ariana Grande for Icons Week but this weekend is the famous Halloween Week where each couple will perform a spooky dance.
