TEHRAN- The annual Amin poetry gathering, traditionally held in the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s office during the middle of Ramadan to commemorate the birthday of Imam Hassan (AS), was expanded this year into an unprecedented nationwide event, held simultaneously across all provinces of the country.
In line with this national initiative, the Amin poetry gathering in Hormozgan province convened on Thursday evening at the Shajareh Tayyebah elementary school in Minab, which was hit by the Zionist regime and the U.S in a coordinated attack on Sunday morning.
The ceremony, attended by prominent religious poets of the province and a multitude of enthusiasts, paid homage to the memory of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and honored the 168 schoolchildren of the school who were martyred in the deadly strike.
At this gathering, organized by the Art Bureau of Hormozgan, over 20 religious poets recited verses steeped in sorrow, profound regret, and fervent love for the Leader, as well as in remembrance of the martyred children.
The presence of the poets at the damaged school, which still displays the vestiges of destruction and the indelible marks of enemy atrocities, evoked profound and authentic emotions among attendees and viewers alike. The event was broadcast live.
Amin poetry gathering this year, with a combination of sorrow, sacrifice, and hope, became a symbol of the continuity of culture and poetry among the people of Iran, and it showed that in the face of accidents and disasters, art and literature can express a spiritual voice, a voice of hope and resistance.
Following the Zionist regime and the U.S’s a coordinated attack on Sunday morning, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, was martyred. Also, in a deadly strike on a girls’ school in southern Iran — Shajareh Tayyebah elementary school in Minab, a city in Hormozgan Province, 168 children were martyred and 95 were injured.
In response, Operation “True Promise 4” has begun and will continue until the defeat of enemies.
