Arabella Chi lounges by pool and enjoys date night in missile-hit Dubai

Former Love Island star Arabella Chi has shared it appears to be life as normal despite the airstrikes in Dubai as she enjoyed a day around the pool with her daughter

Arabella Chi has shown she is getting back to reality after admitting her terror to the goings-on in Dubai. The former Love Island star, 34, previous shared her fear at being stuck in the area amid the missile attacks and on-going conflict in the Middle East.

She had said she was planning to “hide her family in a storage cupboard” as she spoke of the heights she would go to to protect them. However, it now appears as though she is taking a much more relaxed approach than first anticipated.

The influencer shared an update on her Instagram. In a sweet snap, she showed her romantic date night with a view. Boyfriend Billy Henty is seen with his arm around the reality TV star as she captioned the picture: “A forever kind of love”.

She followed it up with a cute photo of her daughter Gigi Harper lying on her in just a nappy while she sunbathed. The star appeared to be in the shade while her tot slept and she wore a necklace with her own name on it.

When the youngster woke, Arabella shared another adorable clip as they chilled by the pool. Days earlier she had explained how she was “scared but safe” as tensions grew.

Israel launched joint strikes on Iran and the US. Explosions were reported in Dubai and Abu Dhabi while missiles also targeting a US naval base in Qatar and other targets across the region were launched.

The family had moved to Dubai six months earlier. She was recently joined by her brother and his wife are who had been on holiday in the luxurious city and unable to get home. However, she admitted that while thousands head for the exit, she is making no plans to evacuate herself at present.

She said: “Despite being scared, I do feel safe, so as it stands, we have no bags packed and we are not planning on leaving. Obviously, if things got worse, then I might re-look at that situation but I feel that they are intercepting everything that is coming our way so I don’t feel the need.

“My brother and my sister-in-law are stuck here, they were supposed to fly two days ago. They need to get back to the UK and hopefully there will be a solution to that soon but they’re here with us at the moment.”

She admitted they had initially cancelled a number of outings last minute due to the air strikes. However, they just moved their plans back a number of days and now appear to be carrying on as usual.
