Hi there and welcome to our qualifying coverage from Albert Park in Melbourne.
I’m Hannah Kennelly, and I’ll be taking you through all the action as our very own Oscar Piastri looks to become the first Australian to claim pole position in his home grand prix.
We know to always expect the unexpected in the first round of the new season, but that’s particularly the case today, given the raft of regulation changes and reliability issues the teams are facing.
