The drama between David, Victoria and their eldest son Brooklyn seems to have changed gear, as the famous couple reunite with pal and infamous wedding singer, Marc Anthony.

After months of speculation and comments about what really happened at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding, the Beckham family have closed ranks and publicly backed Marc Anthony.

Anthony found himself at the heart of the feud between Brooklyn and his parents this year. Brooklyn came at his wedding wedding singer Anthony asked for ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’ to come forward, which prompted Victoria to rise rather than his bride Nicola.

The singer, who has long been close to David and Victoria, was front and centre again this weekend as he performed at the opening of Inter Miami’s new Freedom Park stadium. In addition to his wife, David was supported by sons Cruz, Romeo, 23, and daughter Harper, 14.

And in a move that won’t go unnoticed, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz took to social media to show his support, sharing a snap of Jennifer Lopez’s ex and calling him “Uncle Marc”.

The gesture comes after Brooklyn made explosive claims about the singer’s role in his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, and he responded by describing the situation as “extremely unfortunate” and insisting the version of events being shared is “hardly the truth”.

Earlier this year in a lengthy statement, Brooklyn alleged that Marc had disrupted his first dance, a moment he says had been carefully planned with Nicola, by calling him up on stage and inviting Victoria to join him instead.

Brooklyn claimed in his bombshell post: “He called me to the stage,” before adding that his mum then “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

Now, the rest of the Beckham family have appeared to publicly back Marc’s version of events.

David was joined by Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper at the stadium launch, with the family sharing a series of supportive posts celebrating the milestone moment.

Victoria wrote: “I couldn’t be prouder… I love you @Davidbeckham you inspire us all every day.”

The renewed spotlight on Marc’s involvement has also reignited questions around what really happened at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, which has become a key crisis point in the wider family rift.

DJ Fat Tony, a long-time friend of the family and who played at the wedding, previously backed up parts of Brooklyn’s account, claiming the timing of the dance was off and when Marc called Victoria to the dance floor, he had instructed Brooklyn to “place your hands on your mother’s hips”.

He said: “There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action! The word ‘inappropriate’, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.”

He said: “What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage.

“Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage – and then he says ‘Victoria, come to the stage’.”

He added: “The timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment.”

According to Tony, the situation left both Brooklyn and Nicola visibly upset, with the bride reportedly leaving the room in tears. He said: “Brooklyn left right after the dance. Nicola left the room and afterwards he went after her.”
