Big Brother stars Elsa Rae and Marcus John have shared some happy news with their fans as they revealed they are expecting their first baby together. The couple – who met six months ago while starring on the hit reality TV series – announced the pregnancy on Instagram on Sunday, March 29.
The adorable update, shared on both of their accounts simultaneously, saw Elsa, 21, and Marcus, 22, admit their excitement at the prospect of becoming parents. The duo fell in love while starring on Big Brother back in September 2025.
Their upload featured a picture that had their baby scan placed alongside a white baby grow with the words “and then there were three” printed on it in black italic writing and a small love heart underneath.
The scan was inside a Polaroid style frame with the words “Our hearts are full… one tiny heartbeat has joined ours” written on it.
The picture also featured a neutral toned knitted pair of baby booties, as well as a co-ordinating comforter featuring a bunny rabbit. They captioned the post: “We’ve been keeping a little secret…our bubba due October 2026! We are so very excited.”
In November 2025 following the Big Brother final Marcus made a big gesture over his feelings for girlfriend Elsa as they shared a look at their new found life together following the end of the show. At the time they posted a video filmed inside a lavish hotel room in Manchester, which showed the room from floor to ceiling covered with red heart balloons, with a trail of red rose petals leading to the huge bed.
Written across one of the balloons was the question “Will you be my girlfriend?” and the video was dubbed with the iconic Dirty Dancing theme song, (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.

Marcus and Elsa fell in love during their time in the Big Brother house with their blossoming romance leading to them both confessing they were in love with one another during the last week of the show.
Marcus, a mechanical engineer, opened up in the diary room and told Big Brother: “I’m in love with Elsa,” as Elsa shared her feelings for Marcus with her housemates. While some viewers claimed the relationship – which was one of the most talked about topics to come out of the last season of the show – was a “showmance,” others were delighted to see them form the romantic bond.
The Big Brother finale saw Cameron, Elsa, Richard, Tate, Jenny and Emily go head to head to take the victory, with Richard ultimately picked as the Big Brother winner by the public, bagging the £100,000 prize.
