- Police are investigating her death after her body was discovered at her home in Swillington, near Leeds, on Saturday morning. Officers were called following a concern for safety report at 6.38am.
- Aspin began her relationship with Fielder-Civil in 2011, two years after his stormy marriage to the Back to Black singer ended. The couple met in rehab and had a son together.
- She once defiantly told Winehouse to “keep her hands off” Fielder-Civil, declaring: “He is mine, and we are a family now.” Their relationship lasted until 2018.
- Following Winehouse’s tragic death in 2011, Aspin spoke emotionally about Fielder-Civil’s devastation. “He is devastated and shattered,” she said tearfully at the time.
- Her daughter Melody-Rose Hampshire paid tribute online, writing: “No words at all. Love you so mum. May you rest in eternal peace my beautiful mum.”
- A police spokesman confirmed her death is being treated as unexplained, with forensic specialists examining the property until late Sunday.
