The Blue Jays made their presence felt in a big way in Game 1 of the World Series.

On the back of a nine-run sixth inning, which included the first pinch-hit grand slam in Fall Classic history, Toronto rolled to an 11-4 victory over the Dodgers on Friday night at Rogers Centre.

With the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth, the Blue Jays sent 12 batters to the plate, with Addison Barger smacking a pinch-hit grand slam and Alejandro Kirk providing a two-run blast.

Blue Jays starter Trey Yesavage allowed two runs over four innings while five relievers combined to yield just two runs — both of which came on a Shohei Ohtani homer — over the final five frames.

Game 2 is slated for Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET.
