An acclaimed actor has died, his family has confirmed. Jung Eun-woo’s family broke the sad news a day after the star had posted a worrying upload on social media.
A day before his death, the actor had posted photos of Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung, British singer Amy Winehouse, and himself on Instagram. In his post, he sadly wrote: “Missed, jealous, sorry.”
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed. His funeral is set to take place on Friday.
His followers quickly headed to the comments section of the post following news of his death. One user wrote: “I can’t believe this… May the soul of the departed rest in peace.. My heart hurts.”
Another sad follower wrote: “What?!…why did you die today? Why do you do this, bro… Why you leave so soon, bro…? May his soul rest in peace.”
Jung’s acting career began with an appearance in the third season of the KBS drama titled Sharp, which ran between 2003 and 2007. He also appeared on several other series, including the SBS drama Bride of the Sun.
