Olivia Dean achieved her radiant skin at the 2026 Brit Awards thanks to a lightweight but buildable skin tint, and shoppers say it looks like a ‘second skin but better’
If you’ve been watching this year’s Brit Awards, you’ll have no doubt noticed plenty of Olivia Dean on your screens. From her stunning red carpet look, to her showstopping performance and four awards under her belt, this has definitely been the year of Olivia Dean.
And despite such a busy night, we couldn’t help but notice how radiant and flawless her skin still looked towards the end of the evening. Thankfully her makeup artist Celia Burton shared a behind the scenes snap of her makeup kit for the Brits (including an “excellent” Hourglass highlighter that’s launching soon), and it included the exact foundation used for the awards ceremony; the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation .

The Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation is the perfect foundation for transitioning from winter into spring, when we start to want something that’s a little more lightweight and glow-boosting. It has a lightweight, buildable formula that gives all day wear (and all night, if Olivia’s Brit Awards skin is anything to go by) and is packed with skin-loving ingredients that improve your complexion as you wear it.
It contains 94% naturally-derived ingredients including hyaluronic acid, plant-based squalene, meadowfoam seed oil and a rambutan blend. These all work together to plump skin, improve skin tone and make skin look and feel smoother, all whilst also instantly boosting your skin’s moisture levels by 52%.
You can choose from 18 different shades in the Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation with shades to suit a range of skin tones, and you can pick it up for £49 at Sephora. If this is a little out of your price range, some of our other favourite – and more affordable – skin tints include Kylie Cosmetics Skin Tint Blurring Elixir Foundation which is £27, and the L’Oréal Paris Paradise Lumi Glotion which is currently on sale for £9.59.
However, it seems the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation has been deemed worth the splurge by shoppers, with one saying: “A little on the pricey side, but so very worth it. It’s so simple to use and layer products over without looking cakey or too much. I like to mix it with the Glossier skin tint too and am obsessed with the final look always, just leaves your skin looking glowy and less pigmented but still natural.”
Another agreed: “Entirely worth the price. I have very dry and acne prone skin and this + the tower 28 concealer is a FLAWLESS combo!! Best blind buy i’ve ever tried.”
Whilst a third wrote: “This skin tint is lightweight, quick blend, even i just use my finger not the brush but the finish is so beautiful, just like my second skin and help me get a natural glowy. I love it and will buy again.”
However some were less of a fan, writing: “I was excited to get this product given all good reviews (some even raves about it). as someone who mainly uses tinted moisturizers, this product is underwhelming. I don’t get it. average finish, average coverage.. nothing special. the glow is not even there.. you can achieve better glow if you use the right moisturizer.”
