In January, Brooklyn Beckham famously cut ties with his parents David and Victoria by issuing a bombshell statement in which he accused his family of “controlling the narrative”. And now insiders claim Brooklyn has brutally cut off some of his friends, leaving them blindsided by his “bizarre” behaviour.
Former pals including Gordon Ramsay’s twins Jack and Holly, Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie and Selena Gomez have all been ditched by the star since he married Nicola Peltz in 2022. Brooklyn hasn’t been pictured with any of his London pals for more than five years – proving where his loyalties now lie.
None of his friends were invited to his vow renewal in August at Nicola’s family estate in New York. Instead he partied with Georgina Chapman, her partner Adrien Brody and Nicola’s glam squad. But there are some friends who have managed to stay on side, who surprisingly include some of his ex-girlfriends.

Anais Gallagher
According to reports, former classmate Anais Gallagher – daughter of Oasis star Noel and Meg Mathews – was shocked to discover she’d been blocked by Brooklyn following the release of his bombshell statement on social media.
Anais attended sixth form college – the exclusive, £12,000-per-term Fine Arts College in Belsize Park, North West London – with Brooklyn and even attended his wedding. Before meeting Nicola, pals claimed he and Anais were “incredibly close” and shared a “flirty” relationship – but that appeared to change when Anais deemed his widely mocked photography book “offensive”.
A source told The Sun : “She was really blindsided when she realised that he had blocked her. Anais is pretty sure it’s because he’s worried she’s going to spill the beans about what went on. But that’s not her style.”
The insider added: “If you’ve ever crossed him, he won’t forget — and as the war with his parents drags on, he’s taking note on who has his back and who clearly doesn’t.”
Rocco Ritchie
Brooklyn regularly hung out with Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco growing up, with the pair snapped skating together. Rocco was dating Kim Turnbull at the time, who is now loved up with Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo.
Rocco made the guestlist for Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, but he was nowhere to be seen when they renewed their vows in 2025. Brooklyn previously described Rocco – and Gordon Ramsay’s son Jack – as “really close friends”.
Speaking in 2017, he said: “I’ve changed schools quite a few times but I have some close friends that have known me since I was very young. I have a handful of really close friends, but in particular I’d say Jack Ramsay and Rocco Ritchie.”
But sources now claim there’s been “a real shutdown” between Brooklyn and his mates back in the UK. They said: “It’s like the marriage to Nicola meant he started a whole new life with new people around him. It’s sad but people have sensed a shift in his life and priorities.”
Holly and Jack Ramsay
It’s thought Brooklyn’s is no longer speaking to his former friend Jack Ramsay, and he supposedly declined an invite to attend Holly’s winter wedding to swimmer Adam Peaty in December 2025. His parents and siblings were all there for the celebrations.
The Beckhams and Ramsays have been close since the early 2000s, bonding when both families relocated to the USA where David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay developed their careers. And with children of similar ages, the families got closer as the kids grew up together.
With just nine months between them, Brooklyn and Holly – along with her twin brother Jack – became best friends and would spend play dates together. The duo would often be snapped around the world together, and even at Christmas time, as their famous parents would whisk the families to sunny beaches and snow coated ski holidays.
But Brooklyn’s decision to shun the celebrations is said to have gone down like a proverbial lead balloon with protective parents Gordon and Tana Ramsay. A source told the Daily Mail: “David and Victoria see Gordon and Tana almost as family. The kids all grew up together. Brooklyn always loved his time with them all but his and Jack’s friendship isn’t really there any more which is a great shame.
“Gordon and Tana have been upset at the fall-out too. They are very, very fond of Brooklyn. They’ve known him since he was tiny. Brooklyn doesn’t appear to see many of his friends he hung out with before Nicola any more and that is very sad. These are people who he goes way back with and Holly is one of them.
Selena Gomez
At one point, pop star Selena Gomez, Nicola and Brooklyn were so close they joked they were like a “throuple” – but it’s thought the trio are no longer in contact. According to reports, Selena was left feeling betrayed after Nicola ditched her – and tellingly, both Nicola and Brooklyn were nowhere to be seen at Selena’s wedding to Benny Blanco in September.
However, an insider claimed that the only reason Nicola did not attend the wedding is because she was ‘strict preparation’ for a new project. A source told the Daily Mail: “Nicola is in strict preparation for a new role, and was unavailable. She and Brooklyn wish Selena and Benny all the best.”
Afton McKeith
Afton – daughter of I’m A Celeb star Gillian McKeith – appears to have proved her loyalty to her ex-boyfriend Brooklyn after she said his parents could’ve “protected” him more.
Following the release of Brooklyn’s statement, Afton, who grew up in West London alongside Brooklyn, publicly spoke about how Brooklyn had suffered with anxiety
She said: “Brooklyn felt as though the world was constantly waiting for him to muck up. I now feel his parents could have protected him more and considered the impact of the public Brand Beckham.”
Tallia Storm
Similarly, singer Tallia Storm – who dated Brooklyn in 2014 when they were both teenagers – opened up about her experiences with Brooklyn’s mum, Victoria. She told The Mirror that Posh had an invested interest in their relationship and that her team sent paparazzi to photograph them together.
Looking back at the time she and Brooklyn were supposed to attend a charity gala, Tallia explained: “I was meant to sit next to Brooklyn.
“We were all super excited — and then he messaged me on the night itself, when I was already inside, saying, ‘My mum won’t let me come, I’m sorry.’ And that was that. Obviously, Victoria didn’t like me or whatever.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Many have drawn comparisons between Brooklyn and Prince Harry over their decisions to distance themselves from their families – and last year it was reported that the royal and his wife Meghan Markle were supporting Brooklyn and Nicola, even inviting them round for dinner. It was claimed Harry, who was also at loggerheads with his father, King Charles and brother Prince William, was reportedly able to offer his support to Brooklyn.
