Chappell Roan Breaks Silence On Shocking Incident Involving Jorginho’s Daughter, ‘Did Not Deserve..’

American singer and songwriter, Chappell Roan is currently dominating the headlines for all the wrong reasons. For the unversed, hours ago, a controversy involving Chappell and Jorginho has grabbed nationwide attention. Recently, Jorginho accused Chappell’s security team of aggressively handling his 11-year-old daughter. Well now, Chappell has come forward and shared her side of the story.

Chappell Roan reveals her side of the story amid claims by Jorginho

While Jorginho’s side of the story has been making headlines, a few hours ago, Chappell Roan took to her Instagram Stories to share her side of the story. In the IG Story, she explained that she did not see any child and mother approaching her. Further, she stated that the security guard that everyone is talking about was not her personal security. The singer was quoted as saying:

“I’m just going to tell my half of the story of what happened today with a mother and child who were involved with a security guard, who is not my personal security. I didn’t even see a woman and a child. Like, I did not. No one came up to me, no one bothered me. Like, I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel, [and] I think these people were staying at the hotel as well.”

Chappell Roan continued to mention that she does not hate any of her fans, so why would she ask anyone to misbehave with her fans. She concluded her Instagram Stories by apologising to the 11-year-old daughter and her mother, who faced such a difficult situation. The singer explained that the mother-daughter duo did not deserve it. In her words:

“I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child. I did not. They did not come up to me. They weren’t doing anything. It’s unfair for security to just assume someone doesn’t have good intentions, when they have no reason to believe, because there’s no action even taken. I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children. Like, that is crazy. I’m sorry to the mother and child, that someone was assuming something, that you would do something, and if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that.”

Jorginho opened up about the shocking incident

Hours before Chappell Roan shared her side of the story, the soccer player, Jorginho shared a lengthy post on his Instagram Stories. In the post, he claimed that his 11-year-daughter was very happy when she saw Chappell Roan. However, he revealed that he was heartbroken by what the singer’s security guard did with his family. A part of his note could be read as:

“A large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people. Honestly, I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment…My daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot.”
