Now, amid the ongoing kiss drama, Chase took a jibe at Jessi’s ex, Jordan.

Soon after Chase McWhorter and Jessi Draper’s kiss drama made headlines, a tongue-in-cheek video was dropped by Chase’s ex-wife, Miranda Hope, with whom he shares two children. In the Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video. Miranda was seeing doing makeup. However, it is the text over the clip that caught our attention. She wrote, “GRWM while I process my friend group being a waiting room for my ex-husband.” Jessi’s ex, Jordan Ngatikaura, was quick to comment on Miranda’s post. His now-deleted comment can be read as, “Looks like she can’t even be faithful or loyal even in a friendship… too bad.”

The comment didn’t go well with Chase. He replied, “Back to LinkedIn u go.” Chase’s now-deleted reply appeared to be a suggestion to Jessi’s ex to look for a job. While the sarcastic exchange between Chase and Jordan no longer appears to be visible on Miranda’s post, the screenshots of the comments have already been circulated on X (formerly Twitter).

On March 26, 2026, reports surfaced claiming that Chase McWhorter and Jessi Draper shared a kiss at a party last weekend. Talking about the same, an insider told US Weekly, “They were having fun at a party, and it’s not serious between them.” However, this kiss drama involving Jessi Draper and Chase McWhorter affected Chase’s ex-wife, Miranda, who is also the co-star of Jessi in The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives.

Recently, she sat for an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Miranda shared that although she knew about Chase and Jessi’s communication, she had no clue about the kissing until Chase told her. Miranda highlighted that Jessi came up to say the same thing when she sensed that Chase had told the former about their kissing. Miranda added that she felt slighted by Jessi over the incident. She was quoted as saying:

“I knew there had been communication between Chase and Jessi but not to what extent. Chase was upfront and told me that they were talking and that they kissed. Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them. What I never want to get misconstrued is that there is not any emotional attachment to Chase. He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend.”

In the same interview, Miranda stated that although she and Chase are no longer partners, she has high expectations of him as a co-parent. Miranda mentioned that she also expects her friend to maintain a high standard and believe in friendship loyalty. She added that amid the chaos, she is currently focusing on her kids. She was quoted as saying:

“Chase and I are no longer partners, and while I have a high expectation of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code. With everything going on and all the chaos, I am just focusing on my kids. As unfortunate as the film break is and then also this betrayal, I’m going to try and focus on my kids and reground myself. I am processing it and moving forward.”
