Chris Hughes is travelling to Orlando to reunite with girlfriend Jo Jo Siwa as he opens up on having not seen her in five weeks as they navigate long distance relationship
Reality TV star Chris Hughes has revealed details of the challenges he faces being in a long distance relationship with Jo Jo Siwa, as the couple have not seen each other for five weeks.
The Love Island star, 32, first met the American TV personality in April while appearing on Big Brother together. And at the time, viewers noticed a growing bond and chemistry in their body language.
But the couple insisted they were simply good friends. However, they soon made their romance official and the pair have been navigating a long distance relationship since. They now split their time between the UK and America. With the upcoming Christmas holiday fast approaching, Chris has planed to fly out to the States the week before Christmas.
According to the reality star, this is the longest the pair have been apart. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he explained: “She’s back in America at the moment… I’m going out to see her family the week before Christmas, to Orlando.”
And speaking about the fact he hasn’t seen her in weeks, he went on to say: “This will be, this space now, is like the longest I will have gone since I haven’t seen her. So it’s going to be, it’s going to be nearly four or five weeks by the time I see her again. So I’m going to see her the week before Christmas. I’m going to fly out there.”
He continued: “I’ve got Sunderland vs Newcastle first, which obviously I’m a Sunderland fan. So Sunderland vs Newcastle on the 14th and I’m flying out, that’s on the Sunday, I’m flying out on the Monday the next day. And then I get to see her family, which will be really nice before Christmas. They do a lot for me, her mum and dad and brother and Abby as well. So we’re going to kind of all see each other before Christmas.”
After leaving the Big Brother house Jo Jo, 22, ended her relationship with Kath Ebbs. At the time, Kath was left blindsided but now, it looks as though she has put that experience far behind her.
Kath is now in a relationship with Tilly Lucas-Rodd. They recently fooled fans on TikTok as they pretended to be married with matching rings.
But in a bod to come clean, Kath said: “Another day of my sense of humour getting me into trouble.” They went on say: “Guys I’m p***** myself… Me and Tilly as a joke…someone asked because we both wear rings on our wedding fingers, and so the whole running joke was like ‘yeah we’re engaged, call the Daily Mail! I’ve woken up to articles saying that me and Tilly are engaged.”
Kath continued: “I feel like every time I open TikTok something happens. I feel like when I’m my silly, sarcastic, taking the p*** self on here, sometimes I get misunderstood but most of the time y’all understand me. As soon as I open TikTok people are just on there either calling me names, not getting my humour… I think it’s Americans, they take me earnestly. Or speaking of, I apparently am getting married.”
