The two stars of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man stunned on the red carpet in Birmingham as actors and fans gathered for the premiere of the new Netflix film

Cillian Murphy stopped to take a selfie with a fan as he attended the premiere of new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man in Birmingham on 2 March.

The actor, who plays Brummie gangster Tommy Shelby in the period drama, walked the red carpet at Symphony Hall in a brown silk shirt, high-waisted black trousers and a grey, pinstriped coat.

He made stops along the carpet to pose for pics with fans. Cillian was at the premiere alongside Rebecca Ferguson, who stunned in a gold floor-length gown. While Cillian is reprising his role as Tommy, Rebecca will play Kaulo, a powerful medium and potential love interest for the crime boss.

The spin off film takes place four years after where the hit TV series ended and follows Tommy as he returns to Birmingham to face his demons. The film will hit cinemas on 6 March and be available to stream from Netflix on 20 March. A trailer has already been released, in which Kaulo tells Tommy: “You abandoned your kingdom, and you abandoned your son.”
