Claudia Winkleman’s rarely-seen son Jake has given his own verdict on the current series of Celebrity Traitors. The show graced our screens three weeks ago and has already been hugely popular with the British public.
The new celeb version of the iconic show has become the most-viewed unscripted programme since 2022. Several well-known faces have gone head to head in order to try and win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.
Claudia is at the helm of the show and it seems that her eldest son Jake is quite a fan as well. Comedian Joe Wilkinson is one of the stars that took part in the show but sadly he met his fate when the Traitors chose to “murder” him.

Claudia is in her son’s good books as she told Hello!: “My son is such a massive Joe Wilkinson fan.” However, the presenter said she struggled to be professional in front of Joe as she just wanted to have a chat.
She added: “I wanted to say, ‘Hello, and is there any way I could get your autograph?'” Joe was among several stars that chose to take part in the show for charity.
The Traitors of the series are chat show host Jonathan Ross, singer Cat Burns and comedian Alan Carr, but the Faithfuls are yet to find any of them out yet.
Celebrity Traitors will continue tonight and the Faithfuls are hoping they get a bit closer to finally finding at least one of the Traitors.
On Wednesday evening, either Kate Garraway, Nick Mohammed, or Lucy Beaumont will become the next person to be murdered by the Traitors. Though this arrives as a shocking development, they’ll be encountering them in person to hear the announcement.
It seems that Claudia’s son Jake is a bigger fan of his mum’s job on Traitors than he is of her Strictly Come Dancing gig. The host has previously said that her son has asked her in the past to give up her role on Strictly.
Back in 2018, the presenter admitted that her then-teenage son had asked her to quit her job despite her working for the BBC for most of her son’s life.
Speaking on The Dan Wootton Interview podcast, Claudia explained: “My eldest son has got a buzzcut. He’s 15 and he thinks his mum’s a loser. It’s heartbreaking.
“The main thing he wants me to do is just not do Strictly. ‘Mum, if you really love me, you’d stop.’ He’s just embarrassed.”
Claudia and Strictly co-host Tess Daly announced last week that they would be stepping down from their roles at the end of the series. The duo shared a video to Instagram where they announced the news.
They said they would be finishing the current series but would not be back next year. It is not yet known who will be replacing the iconic pair.
