Alec Pierce might have tipped his hand regarding potential free agency destinations.
Pierce appeared on “Up & Adams” Wednesday and host Kay Adams asked him about his thoughts of landing with teams like the Titans or Bills.
He seemed opened to signing with both through his answers.
“It’s a good spot, it’s close. A young quarterback,” Pierce said of the Titans and quarterback Cam Ward.
Pierce said of the Bills: “That’d be special. [Josh Allen’s] one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL. Big fan of his game. That’d be cool, too.”
Pierce also didn’t rule out a return to the Colts, despite the team electing not to place the franchise tag on him before the start of the new league year.
He said that his camp would likely begin talking to the organization following its decision to retain Daniel Jones, which was made Tuesday when it chose to place the transition tag on the quarterback.
“I love Indy. I’ve loved playing there. Great organization, great people in the city. Just a ton of support,” Pierce said. “I know we haven’t been as good as we could be — and I know we can be — but at this point, I’ve kind of earned the right to explore free agency. See what’s out there, and make a decision that’s best for my career and my family.”
The Titans could desperately use someone like Pierce. Their leading receiver last year was tight end Chig Okonkwo with 560 yards.
Besides Calvin Ridley, Tennessee’s unit is largely inexperienced.

Buffalo, however, could be out of the running for Pierce following thitsir trade for star receiver DJ Moore from the Bears on Thursday. Moore joins Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman in the Bills’ receiving corps.
Pierce would add a deep ball threat to whichever team signs him.
He hit the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career in 2025 on just 47 catches. His 21.3 yards per reception led the NFL, his second straight season sitting atop the category.
He’s also pitched in 13 touchdowns across the last two seasons.
In four years with Indianapolis, he’s racked up 2,934 yards and 17 touchdowns, primarily serving as the Colts’ second receiver behind Michael Pittman Jr.
Now, he could be a major addition for another AFC team.
