Meanwhile, Salman is currently working on the film Battle of Galwan. Reports indicate that Salman portrays Colonel B Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment who led his troops during the Galwan Valley clash of June 2020. The real-life confrontation between Indian and Chinese soldiers along the Line of Actual Control resulted in the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers and significant casualties on the Chinese side.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan is slated for a 2026 theatrical release. Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar earlier this year.
