Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd is expecting a baby with wife Hanni Treweek. Posting a sweet video online, he wrote: “We’ve been keeping a secret…June 2026. He added: “thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.” The couple could be seen smiling as they posted for a pregnancy photo shoot.
Jack, who plays David Platt in the soap, met Hanni when she worked behind the scenes on the show. They tied the knot in July 2025 in Manchester, after Jack popped the question on safari a year earlier.
The couple’s friends were quick to express their joy at the news, with Emmerdale actor Danny Miller reacting to the announcement. “Congratulations guys,” he wrote alongside a heart-face emoji. Catherine Tyldesley gushed: “Congratulations beautiful people.” Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, Jack’s on-screen sister, on the cobbles, wrote: “Amazing.”

The pair tied the knot in front of family and friends including their Coronation Street pals. Helen Worth, who played David Platt’s mum Gail, was in attendance at his big day alongside his on-screen siblings – Ben Price (Nick Tisley) and Tina O’Brien (Sarah Platt).
Colson Smith, who played Craig Tinker, was Jack’s best man and hundreds of friends – including some of his Celebrity Big Brother co-stars – packed the cathedral and partied into the early hours with the happy couple.
Just hours after the end of their big day, Jack and Hanni shared a closer look at the celebrations in a sweet black and white video posted to social media.
It started with the couple walking out the cathedral hand in hand to their cheering guests, before they shared an intimate kiss on the steps.
Fans were also given a closer look inside the wedding venue, as the moment Jack and Hanni walked back down the aisle was captured. The couple beamed as they soaked up the milestone moment before sharing a kiss under Hanni’s veil.
They then headed over to their reception, where Jack and Hanni performed their first dance. Hanni had revealed they took up dance lessons to prepare for their big day and it certainly paid off.
The newlyweds strutted their stuff on the dancefloor before they were joined by their guests to party the night away along to a live band. Their wedding video ended with a romantic kiss in the middle of the party surrounded by their friends and family.
