Cruz Beckham appeared to get emotional and was comforted by his bandmate on stage as he sang a song which is said to be about his brother Brooklyn. Cruz was performing at the tiny Courtyard Theatre in London, in front of his parents, David and Victoria, as well as brother Romeo.

He started singing Loneliest Boy, which includes the lyrics: ‘’Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, It’s breaking hеr heart.’ At one point during the song, he seemed overcome with emotion as his bandmate put his arm around his shoulder and affectionately ruffled his hair. Fans are adamant that the song is about his estranged brother.

The lyrics include: ‘’It shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in thе end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?’ Another verse says: “’Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, To find something bad in somebody good, he always does, Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening, Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.’

The show was the first of three at the venue, which have all sold out. Speaking this week to Rolling Stone about his parents, Cruz said: They’ve been so supportive. Very honest too, but I really listen and trust their feedback on everything, but in the end they support me unconditionally and I want to work hard to make them proud.”

He added of his parents’ music taste growing up: “There was a heavy guitar influence from The Stone Roses to The Rolling Stones to The Beatles, but also a lot of R&B and pop too. I spent years deep diving and studying the greats with no boundary to their genre. A great song is a great song.”

It comes after Brooklyn was last seen at Elton John’s Oscars party on Mothering Sunday in another bitter blow to his family. He has been estranged from the family ever since him and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed dad David’s 50th birthday party.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Cruz says, “I’m so excited to bring these shows to the U.S. It’s always been a dream of mine to play here. I can’t wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the songs live. Me and the band are ready to put on a show.”

Cruz performs with his band The Breakers, featuring Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas and Dario Scotti. He first began performing live in late 2025, playing a series of unannounced sets under different aliases while supporting The Royston Club across the UK.
