The youngest Beckham boy has not been shy on social media since his brother, Brooklyn Beckham, posted a six-page scathing statement to Instagram, slamming their parents
Cruz Beckham appears to have put another dig at his brother, Brooklyn, in the music video for his new song ‘For Your Love’. The brothers have been feuding for months, and Cruz has not been shy at taking sly swipes at his brother, who accused their parents, David and Victoria, of being “controlling” and valuing “Brand Beckham” over everything else.
At the start of the music video for Cruz’s latest song, he and his band are talking to a producer who says that if Cruz wants a music video for the song, he needs to “call your daddy, and get a sponsor”.
In response, Cruz says: “A sponsor? You think we’re sell-outs? We would never do that.” The short snippet was posted to his Instagram as a reel. The comment is a direct contradiction to one of Brooklyn‘s accusations in his bombshell statement released in January.

The eldest Beckham child, who has previously had brand deals and partnerships with companies such as Superdry, slammed his family for putting ‘Brand Beckham’ first. He said: “My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.”
Fans praised Cruz for his wit in the comments of the Instagram reel. “He’s got talent and charisma, he doesn’t need his parents,” one fan wrote. Another added that they loved how he seemed to be riffing off Brooklyn’s comments about ‘Brand Beckham’. “Love how he takes advantage of the Brand Beckham reputation,” they joked.
This is not the first time Cruz appears to have taken swipes at his brother on social media. He and his brother previously posted a video to TikTok in which they seemed to be digging at Brooklyn.
Posted to Cruz’s TikTok page, the youngest Beckham boy could be seen filming himself in a car before panning the camera over to include his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, his brother, Romeo, and Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull. He captioned the video: “Imagine hating and we’re just here like.”
The video was later deleted but viewers were split in the comments about whether they sided with him or his brother. ome praised Cruz and Romeo for their “iconic reponse” to Brooklyn’s recent explosion at his family on social media and said they “love the humour” that the boys are finding amid the fallout between their brother and their parents, David and Victoria. But others said they were on Brooklyn’s side, with many commenting “Team Brooklyn”.
Cruz also looked like he was throwing in a jibe at Brooklyn when he celebrated his upcoming tour selling out. Cruz posted a story to his Instagram thanking the UK for snapping up tickets to his first London gig and accompanied the video with a section of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ by his mum’s band Spice Girls.
The pointed lyrics appeared to show Cruz’s firm solidarity with his parents who have been left shellshocked by Brooklyn speaking out. The specific lyrics Cruz chose to include were from the opening verse. They read: “The race is on to get out of the bottom/The top is high so your roots are forgotten/Giving is good, as long as you’re getting/What’s driving you is ambition I’m betting.”
Brooklyn claimed that rather than “ambition” driving him, he wanted to share his side of the story as he had “no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed”.
