Crystal Palace v AZ Alkmaar: Confirmed line-ups as Eagles aim to bounce back in Conference League

Crystal Palace face a crucial few days with crunch matches in the Conference League and Premier League.

The Eagles host AZ Alkmaar tonight attempting to make it two wins in the league phase following the shock defeat to AEK Larnaca last time out.

And then they host M23 Derby rivals Brighton at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

AZ have won their last five in all competitions and their man to watch is teenage midfielder Kees Smit, who is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid.

“I watched their last game against Sparta Rotterdam,” said Palace boss Oliver Glasner. “Yes, they won 1-0 but they could have been three or four-nil up by half-time.

“It just showed how good they are. We will have to perform at our top level to get this win. It would make it a little easier to have this win for the following three games, but it is really a case of taking it step by step, game by game and make sure we put in our best performance tomorrow.”
