Dan Osborne has reportedly been left shocked after his split from Jacqueline Jossa who is said to have ‘mentally checked out’ on their time together
Jacqueline Jossa has called time on her marriage – and her decision is said to have husband Dan Osbourne feeling “shocked” and “panicked.”
It’s far from the first time the pair have split, but it’s claimed that this time the former TOWIE star has pushed his wife too far. The couple tied the knot at stunning Delamere Manor, in Cheshire, in 2017 and have been together in total for 13 years. They share young daughters Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, together, while Dan also had son Teddy, 12, from a previous relationship.
They’ve had a turbulent time of it in recent years, with break-up claims lingering. But now, it appears time is up for the pair for good. According to a source, Dan had the ‘shock of his life’ when Jacqueline read him the riot act.

A source told The Sun: “She has mentally checked out of the relationship for the first time and Dan has panicked. He’s worried the grass isn’t greener and has had the shock of his life that he’s pushed Jac too far this time.”
They added that the couple have been living separate lives for a year and the EastEnders star said she is finally “over it”.
Dan is thought to have been living in the house he bought during a separation from Jacqueline last year. And a source close to Jacqueline said both stars have been telling people the split is permanent this time. “Her confidence has come flooding back, and she’s happier than she’s been in a long time,” they said after making her escape.
The turbulent couple had listed their family home for sale last year. In 2024, Jacqueline shared a rare insight into their marriage as she set the record straight following allegations of infidelity from Dan, as well as another split.
At the time, she gushed on social media: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world.
“Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more!!”
Speaking in 2020 after a number of cheating allegations, Dan told The Sun: “I’ve made mistakes. I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done. Me and Jac have spoken about that and she has forgiven me.
“I know in the past I’ve denied things when they’re not true, then when something has been true, I probably just kept my mouth shut. I was a different person.”
He added at the time: “There have been times where if it were the other way round, I would have left. I would have gone, so I’ve said to her ‘I wouldn’t blame you if you left me’. I’ve said that to Jac.
“I’ve said if it was the other way around I’d be gone, it’s not like I’ve been brushing off any mistakes that I’ve made. I’m fully aware of them and I’m aware that it ain’t right.”
