Fans of former rugby ace Danny Cipriani can now get their hands on his actual England shirts, as his ex-wife Victoria Rose has listed dozens for sale on the fashion app, Vinted
Danny Cipriani’s ex-wife is flogging his old England rugby shirts online as part of a huge giveaway of his prized possessions. The former England, Bath, and Sale Sharks star and Victoria Rose officially filed for divorce in August 2024, nine months after their bitter break-up.
Victoria appeared to be clearing out their former marital home this weekend as she offered fans of Danny, 38, the chance to get their hands on some of his old clothes – including his official England kit.
The former model, who is now a neuroscientist, 44, has sold around 40 of Danny’s shirts on the fashion resale app, Vinted, but has countless more available for fans of the rugby ace. Her bio on the app reads: “Hey! Mostly personal kit archive of former England international Danny Cipriani.
“Over the course of his career, Danny accumulated a huge amount of match-issued, tour, and squad-worn rugby gear from England, Sale Sharks, and international fixtures, much of it personalised, signed, or linked to specific games and milestones.”
She goes on to add: “These are genuine player items gathered over years at the top level of the sport, now being released piece by piece for collectors and fans.” As well as his rugby memorabilia, Victoria is selling the likes of a pair of Yeezy trainers, Christian Louboutin trainers, Gucci trainers and a North Face coat which appears to have been owned and worn by Danny.
On each designer item listed by Victoria, Vinted also offer item verification to ensure the items are genuine from the major fashion labels, including Gucci and Christian Louboutin. Over the summer, Victoria revealed that she would be selling Danny’s items as she’d been holding onto them for too long.
She had claimed that Danny wasn’t interested in collecting the items from her home, despite her attempts to reunite him with them. She said: “For months, actually, years, I’ve been paying for storage, holding onto boxes of Danny’s career, memorabilia, kits, medals, and personal items.
“Not because I wanted to. But because I genuinely believed, at some point, he’d want to collect them. That he’d care enough to take responsibility for his own history. He didn’t.
“In our most recent court appearance, he was once again offered the chance to collect it all. No obstacles. No drama. Just take what’s his. And he declined.” Last year, Victoria claimed that she had no idea why Danny walked out of their marriage as there’d been “no row” or no sightings of “red flags”.
She said: “We were sat on the sofa watching telly and he stood up and said: ‘If I go now, can I come back?'” She went on to claim: “Danny took a lot of drugs and had mental health issues, so I tried to just go along with him. I just said ‘OK’ and he left.”
Danny and Victoria split in 2023, and it was later claimed that she had seen “messages on his phone”. Meanwhile, Danny later opened up about their split and claimed that he was the reason behind the breakup. He said on his Instagram Stories: “After stories being brought to my attention, I’d like to clarify, I have broken up with Victoria for the only reason being we are not right for each other.”
Victoria, however, later claimed that Danny’s behaviour during their relationship was the reason behind their split, claiming Danny had been using recreational drugs.
The Mirror has approached Danny’s spokesperson for comment.
