A year after Danny Jones was seen kissing Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards, he and his wife Georgia Horsley seem to be stronger than ever. Danny was seen having a day out with his wife, eschewing the music awards and its afterparties for some family time.
The pair looked relaxed as the McFly star skipped the parties for his family. He wore a green and black fleece with a cap that was decorated with a smiley face. Danny was equally as smiley and grinned widely as he walked with his family.
Georgia, meanwhile, wore a green cardigan tucked into jeans and threw a black coat over the top. She also had a large black bag with her and completed her look with black boots.

The pics of the two together came on 28 February, the day of the 2026 BRIT Awards. The awards took place in Manchester, and several high profile musicians were guests at the event. However, Danny skipped the awards and the afterparties.
He and Georgia instead put on a united front as the anniversary of Danny’s infamous kiss with Maura approached. At an afterparty for the BRITs last year, the singer was spotted kissing the former Love Islander.
They had first met when they appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! together, but got cosy at the Universal Music afterparty at 180 The Strand on Sunday 1 March 2025. Danny was seen giving Maura a peck before moving in to kiss her on the lips in front of onlookers.
He issued an apology online, which read: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.
“I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately. I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”
A source told The Mirror at the time that Maura was in a “bad way and really struggling”. They said: “Maura is a tough character but the reaction to events has been utterly relentless, and it’s fair to say it’s taken its toll.
“She has found all of this very difficult to navigate. She appreciates she’s in the public eye and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down. She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.”
Georgia and Danny’s relationship was said to be fragile, after the kiss. There were reports Georgia had “moved out” of the family home to live with her friend Rose Mahon. However, those close to Georgia told the Mirror that her stay with Rose was not permanent. They said she wanted to “decompress” after a highly stressful few days, and was always coming home. “This wasn’t some grand gesture where she suddenly packed her bags and left,” a source told us.
“It was just a girlie few nights at a close pal’s flat. Yes, she wanted some space, but she is home now, and while things are still fragile, they are trying to work things through.” Another source close to the couple also revealed: “The break has done Georgia a world of good.”
The first time Georgia spoke about her husband publicly after the kiss seemed to signal that the two were back on track though. Months after the kiss, Georgia’s first statement about her husband was a tribute to him on Father’s Day. She posted a picture of Danny and their son with the caption: “For the Dads. Happy Father’s Day.”
