Sir David Beckham and Brooklyn were in the same city but still refused to meet each other as the family feud continues to rumble on following the wannabe chef’s scathing statement about his parents
David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn may have been closer, geographically speaking, than they have for months. However, they still seemingly avoided any contact as the family feud continues. The dad-and-son duo’s relationship has been torn apart in recent months, and Brooklyn hit out at his family in a brutal public statement.
Ever since, fans of the family have been eagerly watching as Brooklyn continues to snub his parents. And it seems like there is still simmering tension after David, 50, was in Los Angeles – where his eldest son lives with wife Nicola Peltz – on Monday but failed to meet up with his eldest son, 27.
There are suggestions that they were even at the same hotel, the Beverly Hills, but the Mail says when Brooklyn arrived to sit by the pool, David had already gone to a filming location in Santa Monica to record an ad for Lays crisps, which is a FIFA World Cup sponsor.

While David took in Elton John’s Aids Foundation Oscars viewing party on Sunday, it was questioned if he’d meet up with Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola, who live in LA.
But a source told The Sun: “David was in Los Angeles for a new ad campaign, but given Brooklyn’s decision to cut off his family, there was no meeting between them.
“David had just come back from a skiing trip with Romeo and friends in Canada when he flew to Los Angeles for work. Brooklyn would have just been miles away from him in the house he shares with Nicola.”

Brooklyn made it clear in his scathing statement last year that he has no intention of reconciling with his parents. At the time, he called out their so-called controlling behaviour. And he also criticised their apparent actions towards his wife.
Speaking of his wedding day in 2022, Brooklyn said his mum “hijacked” his first dance with his new wife. And as the family feud rumbles on, it appears that Brooklyn’s brother Cruz has firmly picked his side.
The 21-year-old musician is regularly snapped with his mum and dad and in his latest song seems to take a swipe at his older brother. The tune sees him singing about a boy who’s left his mother heartbroken.
The chorus of the track titled Loneliest Boy sees Cruz sing: “So tell me you’re scared, and that you need someone to hold.
“‘Cause you’re in the room but really, does it even show? But, why can’t they see that you’re a million miles away, They’ll never know, when you look so close.”
As the song goes on, Cruz chants: “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, It’s breaking her heart. It shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in the end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”
