Brooklyn Beckham’s family sent messages of love to the eldest Beckham son on his 27th birthday via social media, which Brooklyn may not have seen, as he has blocked many members of his family
David Beckham’s best friend is the only member of ‘Team Beckham’ Brooklyn has not yet blocked, and has reached out to the estranged Beckham son with a message of hope.
David Gardner posted a black and white picture of himself, Brooklyn and David Beckham to Instagram, along with the words: “Happy birthday @brooklynpeltzbeckham. Love you.”
He tagged Brooklyn in the post. This is something that cannot be done on Instagram if someone is blocked, as the majority of the Beckhams are. As such, while David, Victoria and their sons, Cruz and Romeo, were able to post birthday tributes to their social media accounts, they were not able to tag Brooklyn in them. Brooklyn is reported to have previously sent his family a legal letter telling them not to tag or reference him on social media.

Brooklyn also still follows Gardner. The 27-year-old recently unfollowed Gordon Ramsay, seemingly ready to cut ties with anyone associated with his parents, but has yet to do so with his father’s best friend.
Gardner has known Brooklyn since he was born, as he first became friends with David when they were both at Manchester United Youth Academy aged 14. He now works as a sports and entertainment manager, and used to be the football superstar’s agent.
His message to Brooklyn was not a show of allegiance however, as he also attended a gig put on by Cruz Beckham’s band, The Breakers, just hours after posting his tribute to Brooklyn. Musician Cruz and his band performed a gig in Manchester and were supported by not just Gardner, but by the whole Beckham clan.
Brooklyn may not have blocked Gardner, but he did not publicly acknowledge his birthday message either. The only person Brooklyn seemed to publicly praise for their efforts was his wife, Nicola Peltz.
The socialite surprised her husband with balloons and donuts that spelled out “Happy Birthday Brooklyn” and added a message online that read: “happy birthday baby.
“I hope all your dreams and wishes come true! you light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you. You’re the most special human and I love being your wife. I love you I love you I love you”.
Brooklyn commented on the post: “My baby girl xxx”. This comes after Brooklyn publicly stated that he has no desire to reconcile with his family.
In January, the aspiring chef posted a six page message to his Instagram stories in which he stated that his parents were “controlling” and tried to destroy his relationship with his wife.
He also stated that his brothers, Cruz and Romeo, were sent to “attack” him on social media. Prior to this message, things had already soured between the brothers, as Cruz and Romeo had both blocked Brooklyn. Cruz and Romeo have stuck with their parents through Brooklyn’s statement, appearing with them at many events.
