Deepika Padukone was scheduled to attend a show during the on-going Paris Fashion Week, but the star reportedly had to opt out of it due to the growing tensions between US-Israel and Iran. As per a report by Mid-Day, Deepika was invited to attend the French luxury house Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter show on March 10, 2026. However, she could not attend it due to limited flight operations.

As per the report, Deepika had initially confirmed that she would attend the event. She was supposed to head to Paris on March 9, 2026.  The report stated, “Deepika was initially confirmed to attend. She had zeroed in on her outfits and begun fittings for the appearance. But her flight was among the many that were cancelled in the last few days. Also, given that the war has been escalating and affecting several countries across West Asia, she reconsidered whether it was the right time to be travelling.”

The luxury brand Louis Vuitton had announced Padukone as its brand ambassador in 2022. While the report states that Deepika won’t be attending LV’s events for now, due to the geo-political tensions, the actress or her team hasn’t responded to the speculations yet.

On the professional front, Padukone is slated to star in King, directed by Siddharth Anand. It will also star Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and more in leading roles. She had announced her involvement in the film with a heartwarming click. The caption read, “The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?” The click showed her holding SRK’s hand.
