New Delhi: In a significant statement months after Operation Sindoor where India killed more than a hundred terrorists located in multiple terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has made a major revelation. Highlighting Indian Navy’s decisive role in neutralising Pakistani naval threats, the Defence minister said that the operational excellence of Indian Navy created a powerful deterrent for Pakistan’s naval forces.
Speaking at a conference of top naval commanders in New Delhi, Singh said the Navy, acting independently, prevented Pakistani warships from advancing beyond their coastal areas.

Describing the operation as a symbol of India’s strong will and capability, the minister stated that Operation Sindoor sends a clear message to the world that India is always ready to respond to any kind of challenge. The Defence Minister praised the Navy’s preparedness, professionalism, and strength, noting that its operational excellence created a powerful deterrent that kept Pakistan’s naval forces confined to their ports, while reinforcing India’s strategic dominance in the Indian Ocean Region.
Addressing the Army Commanders’ Conference held in the desert city close to the Pakistan border for the first time since ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Defence Minister said, “Though Pakistan has been delivered a heavy dose under Operation Sindoor, if at all, it thinks of indulging in any trouble-making now, it should think 100 times before doing any such thing.”

“Just in case, Pakistan attempts to do something wrong, it should know very well about the outcome of such a misadventure,” said the Defence Minister, adding that Operation Sindoor is still on and it is just put under suspension.
