Aditya Dhar’s movie, Dhurandhar, is gathering praise from all around the corner. The movie, which is based on real events but has its own fictionalised terms, did extremely well at the box office, and people have been waiting for Part 2 to hit the screens with bated breath. Dhurandhar features five actors, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan, while the female lead is Sara Arjun.
Was Pakistani actress, Hira Soomro cast in Aditya Dhar’s movie, Dhurandhar?
The cast of Dhurandhar is surely next level, and the way they essayed the roles on the screens, which were inspired by real characters, if not in a biopic-coded manner, left the audience screaming at the top of their lungs. The movie has been well-received, and as of now, it has collected nearly Rs. 300 crore at the global box office, as reported. Amid this soaring success, a Pakistani actress came forward to claim that she was cast in the movie first, but eventually she backed out due to the movie being ‘anti-Pakistani’.

Well, first, the movie has been claimed to be not ‘anti-Pakistani’ but rather ‘anti-terror’. Secondly, the claims of the Pakistani actress, Hira Soomro, are in question now due to the post she dropped. Taking to her IG handle, Hira Soomro shared the post, wherein she and Ranveer Singh were seen posing. In the caption, Hira claimed that she was the one to leave the movie, as she didn’t want to work in an anti-Pak film.

However, the photos she shared looked heavily AI-generated, thus, her claims about being cast in the movie remain in question. No sooner had Hira dropped the post that netizens corrected her by saying that the movie is not anti-Pakistani, but rather it’s anti-terrorism. Along with the same, netizens also questioned the flaws in the photos that Hira posted, which clearly indicated that the snaps were heavily AI-generated.

Hira Soomro’s IMDb bio says that she was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, and thus, the question about her being a Pakistani remains unanswered. She reportedly has been a part of several Pakistani TV shows, including Tere Bin, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, and Tere Mere Sapnay, among others. To mention, the Dhurandhar team hasn’t reacted to the buzz, so it cannot be confirmed whether she was cast in the movie for real or not.
