On its 12th day, Dhurandhar officially entered the prestigious 600 crore club at the worldwide box office. The film has now surpassed Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1, marking a major achievement for the Ranveer Singh starrer. According to trade estimates, the film has collected an impressive Rs 505.63 crore gross in India, with a net collection of Rs 428.5 crore. Overseas, the movie has earned Rs 140 crore gross so far.
Combining domestic and international numbers, Dhurandhar stands at a massive Rs 645.63 crore worldwide gross within just 12 days of release. This also marks Ranveer Singh’s first film to cross the 600 crore mark globally.
Strong weekday performance
What has truly surprised trade experts is the film’s weekday performance. On Day 12, which fell on a Tuesday, Dhurandhar earned Rs 37.87 crore gross domestically. In overseas markets, it added another Rs 9.5 crore. This took the global Day 12 total to Rs 47.37 crore, which is even higher than its Day 11 collection of Rs 44.36 crore. Such strong numbers on weekdays are rare and point towards an extended and profitable theatrical run. The consistent growth suggests that word-of-mouth and repeat viewing are playing a major role in the film’s success.
Second-highest-grossing Indian adult film
With Rs 645.63 crore in total earnings, Dhurandhar has officially become the second-highest-grossing Indian adult film worldwide. It has overtaken Salaar, helmed by Prashanth Neel, which finished its run at Rs 609.61 crore. The film is now eyeing the top position, currently held by Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which collected Rs 910.72 crore globally.
