Reports suggest that, by profession, she was an IT professional who was working at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram at the time of her marriage to Dhyan Sreenivasan. Just five days later, the Detective Ujjwalan star tied the knot with his then-fiancée on April 7, 2017. They held a traditional wedding ceremony, as per Hindu customs, at Wasava Cliff House in Kannur. The ceremony was kept relatively private, attended by family and close friends.

Following Dhyan and Arpita’s low-key wedding, a grand star-studded reception was held on April 10, 2017, at Gokulam Park in Kochi for friends and colleagues from the film fraternity.
