Did Family Tensions Push Rob Kardashian Away? Know Real Reason For His Break From ‘The Kardashians’

The Kardashians are back with a new season, and this time, one familiar face has got the fans talking. Well, it is none other than Rob Kardashian, who has been out of the spotlight for years now. He finally made a brief comeback on the show and opened up about the real reason behind his long hiatus from his family’s hit reality series. For several years, fans speculated over the reason for his sudden disappearance from their show. Moreover, several conspiracy theories about family tensions and health struggles went viral over time. But as it turns out, Rob’s decision had more to do with himself than any other conflict. 

Did Rob Kardashian step away from the spotlight due to his family feud? 

When the latest season of The Kardashians premiered on Hulu, fans were surprised to see Rob Kardashian. He opened up about his absence from the show’s previous season and put all the rumours about his absence to rest. Contrary to what fans believed, he did not withdraw from the show due to any fallout with his famous sisters. Instead, he admitted that he was no more comfortable being in front of the camera. In his words:

“There’s definitely nothing wrong between any of us. I don’t wanna be filming and putting myself in a position where I’m not comfortable. I like being around my family, so that stuff is good for me.”

For those unfamiliar, Rob is known for being the most private of the Kardashian siblings, revealing that he values his peace and happiness above all else, including fame. He called himself a ‘homebody’ and admitted that he chose his peace and happiness over everything else. Additionally, his sister, Khloé Kardashian, also addressed the situation on the show, assuring fans that Rob is perfectly fine. Dismissing all the speculations, she said:

“He’s not a miserable person who lives under a bridge… we’re totally fine. He’s in our shadows, but that’s because he chooses to be.”

Rob Kardashian opens up about his co-parenting journey with Blac Chyna 

Despite Rob Kardashian’s long absence from The Kardashians, he continues to appear in family events, such as birthdays and holidays, which are often shared on social media by his siblings. At the same time, beyond the show, he has been focusing on fatherhood. He welcomed his daughter, Dream Kardashian, with Blac Chyna in 2016, and they ended their relationship a year later. Yet, they continue to have a healthy co-parenting relationship. During a recent interview, Blac Chyna, who now goes by her birth name, Angela White, mentioned that their dynamic is ‘100 per cent amazing”. Sharing a few words of wisdom to other parents in the same situation, she said:

“For parents that’s going through it right now, I promise you, things will get better.”

Who Is Rob Kardashian?

Rob Kardashian is the youngest child and only son of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian. He rose to fame as a part of the Kardashian family on E! ‘s Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The shoe ran from 2007 to 2021. He even appeared in the 2016 spin-off, Rob & Chyna, and competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 13. Rob emerged as the runner-up on the show, and despite all the fame, he has chosen a quieter path. He is now focused on raising his daughter and maintaining a balanced life.
