Diljit Dosanjh is hyped.

In a downright jubilant Instagram Reel, the 42-year-old singer/rapper/actor giddily announced he’s striking out on his 2026 ‘Aura Tour’ that will send him to arenas all over North America from April through June.

That includes a huge gig at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, May 24.

All shows come in support of Dosanjh’s 2025 album that shares a name with the tour.

“Aura,” which hit shelves last October, saw the versatile showman “[blend] global sounds with the heartbeat of Punjab,” according to The Unseen Mag.

“…the album moves easily between moods, from the infectious energy of Charmer, Kufar and Senorita to the tender romance of Mahiya.”

Prior to this trek, the “Born To Shine” hitmaker last came to North America on his 2024 ‘Dil-Luminati Tour.’

On that run, the Coachella alum brought approximately 30 songs to the stage at each and every gig, based on our findings at Set List FM. That includes popular tracks like “Ishq mitaye,” “Lover,” “Naina,” “G.O.A.T.” and, of course, “Born To Shine.”

“Dosanjh’s skill is in dynamically merging traditional and contemporary cultures,” The Guardian wrote in a glowing five-star review of his 2024 concert at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.

“…there are no dull moments in his two hours on stage. He makes the Dil-Luminati tour such an overwhelmingly joyful celebration – of culture, global exchange and the power of community.”

Diljit Dosanjh new music

On Oct. 15, 2025, Dosanjh dropped his 14th studio album “Aura.”

Coming in at a scant 29.5 minutes, the gifted performer packs the record with a number of sounds like energetic rap (“Senorita,” “Ban,” “Gunda,” “God Bless”), sultry jams (“Kufar,” “Charmer,” “Balle Balle”), groovy rockers (“You & Me”) and sensitive ballads (“Mahiya,” “Broken Soul”).

And, while the record is full of bona fide bops, the two major standouts here are easily “You & Me” with its shimmery, futuristic disco instrumentals and the hypnotic, jazzy “Charmer,” which this reviewer has been bumping on repeat all morning.

If you’d like to hear for yourself, you can find “Aura” here.
