Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi are sharing the screen for the first time in the film Do Deewane Seher Mein. During a recent media interaction, the actress opened up on the emotional core of the film and shared her take on modern love.

Set in the constant hustle of a busy city, the film chooses to explore love not as a polished fairytale, but as a layered and often confusing experience. The trailer introduces two imperfect individuals who aren’t looking for someone to complete them. Instead, the story is about their journey of slowly learning to understand one another.

When asked what aspect of the film’s love story would connect most with audiences, Mrunal summed it up in a single, powerful word and said,  “Insecurities.”

Elaborating further, Mrunal explained how the film moves beyond conventional romantic tropes and instead explores a more honest, layered connection between two individuals. Talking to We Are Yuva, the actress further shared, “When two people meet each other with their respectful insecurities, it’s not people falling in love but people rising in love.”

Do Deewane
According to Mrunal, Do Deewane Seher Mein reflects relationships as they exist in real life, imperfect, vulnerable, and evolving. Rather than presenting love as a flawless fairy tale, the film embraces emotional baggage, self-doubt, and personal growth, making the bond between the characters feel authentic and grounded.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is a collaborative project between Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions. It is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and Bharat Kumar Ranga, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. Timed perfectly for a Valentine’s season release, Do Deewane Seher Mein is slated to hit theatres on February 20, 2026.
