Elderly man mistakenly kidnapped from Sydney’s north-west: police

NSW Police are appealing for help to locate an elderly man who they believe was mistakenly kidnapped from his northern Sydney home.

Just after 5am on Friday, police received a report that an 85-year-old man had been kidnapped from his home in North Ryde.

Investigations by detectives from the robbery and serious crime squad suggest the man may not have been the intended target and are appealing for his safe return.

The man’s family are helping police with their inquiries and have appealed for anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
