The news came nearly 10 months after the actor revealed being diagnosed with ALS. The actor, who had no plans to be a part of the glamour world, fell in love with acting, and well, the rest is history. Eric got married to Rebecca Gayheart in 2004, and they welcomed two daughters. In 2018, Rebecca filed for divorce, which she dismissed in 2025. After his split from Rebecca, Eric briefly dated Priya Jain, who recently broke her silence about the heartbreaking incident that took place.

Priya Jain recently gave an interview to TMZ, wherein she revealed how she has been dealing with her ex-beau, Eric Dane’s passing. Priya said that she is still processing her emotions, and she is not sure what she should say about the same. Priya also added that she has had her share of memories with Eric Dane, and all of them are good. She also mentioned that she is really happy about the fact that Eric’s kids are carrying forward his legacy.

Eric Dane and Priya Jain dated from the middle of 2024 to the middle of 2025, and Priya was hurt over the split between them, as she felt that she was blindsided. Earlier, sources revealed to Us Weekly that Priya and Eric reconnected as friends, before he passed away. As per the source, it was important for them that they kept their friendship alive, following the split last summer. Sources also added that Priya was ‘devastated and sad’ as she didn’t expect this to happen so soon. Priya also felt for Eric’s daughters, as it was very much understandable how tough a phase they might be navigating, losing their father at such a young age.
