An undercover FBI informant “became convinced” that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was an Israeli spy, according to Department of Justice documents released recently.

According to Al Mayadeen, the government record cites a confidential human source (CHS) claiming that Epstein’s attorney, Alan Dershowitz, told then-U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta “that Epstein belonged to both U.S. and allied intelligence services.”

The document states: “CHS shared phone calls between Dershowitz and Epstein during which he/she took notes. After these calls, Mossad would then call Dershowitz to debrief. Epstein was close to the former Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, and trained as a spy under him.”

Noting that Barak believed Netanyahu was a criminal, the informant “became convinced that Epstein was a co-opted Mossad Agent.”

The source further told the FBI that Dershowitz remarked that if he were young again, “he would be holding a stun gun as an Israeli Intelligence (Mossad) agent.” Consequently, the CHS believed Dershowitz was co-opted by and subscribed to the Mossad mission.

The 2020 FBI report suggests Epstein passed information to Mossad through intermediaries, involving senior political and legal figures in Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied that Epstein worked for Israel, files reference Epstein’s documented relationship with Barak, underscoring associations drawing scrutiny years after Epstein’s 2019 death.

Justice Department documents also reveal Epstein donated funds to the Israeli military and the Jewish National Fund (JNF), which supports settlements in occupied Palestinian territories.

2005 IRS filings for Epstein’s COUQ foundation show a $25,000 donation to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF).

In 2008, while facing sex trafficking charges, Epstein toured Israeli military bases with FIDF chairman Benny Shabtai.

Records also document a $15,000 contribution to the JNF. Additionally, Epstein’s foundation donated to Harvard, Columbia, and Hillel International.

According to a 2019 New York Times report, COUQ received roughly $21 million from charities of billionaire Leslie H. Wexner. Another foundation, Gratitude America, received $10 million from a company linked to billionaire Leon D. Black.

Epstein reportedly used these foundations to cultivate a philanthropic image amid abuse allegations and claims that he was a Mossad operative.

Although a linked account claimed his foundation provided $200 million in donations, records indicate it was worth only a small fraction of that amount.
