Cruz Beckham entertained a crowd in Birmingham as he kicked off his tour with his bandmates, The Breakers, and showed a sweet nod to his mum’s music success

Cruz Beckham is following in his mother’s footsteps. And the hopeful musician took to the stage in Birmingham on Wednesday to kick off his UK tour with his band, The Breakers.

The 21-year old son of Victoria and David Beckham entertained onlookers with bandmates Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas and Dario Scotti and was quick to thank the crowd on social media.

They played a number of original tunes while Cruz was dressed smartly for the occasion. The Beckhams youngest son opted for a red dress shirt with formal grey trousers. He completed the look with a striped black and white tie.

He also gave his fans a sneak peek into the set up for his first gig on Instagram, including a funny tribute to his Spice Girl mum. Victoria might have been known as Posh, but Cruz had his very own selection of spices.

Sharing a quick clip to social media, Cruz showed off his technical IEM systems., including Stoney Spice, Smokey Spice, Coffee Spice and Hairy Spice. He looped the iconic band’s Say You’ll Be There over the top of his upload.

And Cruz also shared posts from followers, who had showed what the set up looked like on the night. A sign reading Cruz Beckham and the Breakers towered above the stage with moody red lighting.

There was also images of the group, appearing just as floating heads in diamonds. Elsewhere on his Instagram, Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, was seen proudly showing off his tour merchandise. She was seen sporting a hoodie with all of his tour dates on the back.

Jackie showed another of Cruz’s puns as he stood, arms folded, before his gig with two members of the team who wore t-shirts with “Crews Beckham” branded on the back.

Earlier in the day, Cruz was all smiles as he was arrived at Mama Roux with his girlfriend. He wore a brown leather jacket, while Jackie opted for jeans, a white tank top and a long black coat. She finished off her look with a pair of sunglasses.

While it’s the first show on his tour, it’s not the first foray into the music industry for Cruz. That came in 2016 when he was just 11.

He released his catchy track If Every Day Was Christmas in a bid to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise. The charity aims to help disadvantaged youngsters across the UK.

Following his seemingly successful Birmingham show, Cruz will now head to Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Southampton, Brighton, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin on his tour.

He will end with three nights in London at The Courtyard Theatre.
