Former Jets first-round draft pick Darron Lee was arrested and charged in Tennessee for allegedly murdering his girlfriend, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Friday night.

Lee, who was selected by the Jets with the No. 20 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, is being charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.

Jail records viewed by The Post show that he is currently being held without bond and has a court date set for Wednesday.

The body of Lee’s girlfriend was found in a home near Ooltewah Elementary School in Hamilton County on Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Police were dispatched to the home — which is located roughly two and a half hours outside of Nashville — to a report of CPR in progress.

Despite attempting live-saving measures for the girlfriend, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said she ultimately succumbed to her injuries, with Lee, 28, being identified as the suspect and taken into custody at the scene.

The sheriff’s office said initial findings indicate that the victim’s death was from a homicide.

This is not the first time that Lee has been arrested, with the linebacker being booked for assault and domestic violence in Ohio in 2023.

Lee pushed a woman “against the wall, throwing her to the floor and striking her face and head 8 to 9 times with his closed fists,” according to the 2023 arrest report.

He then placed “his hand around her neck and lifting up, and dropping her on the ground,” the arrest report said.

He was found guilty in the incident and was issued a no-contact order from the state, court records viewed by The Post show.

Lee was a standout defender at Ohio State and was the defensive MVP of the Buckeyes’ Sugar Bowl win over Alabama in 2015.

His tenure in the NFL was not as successful, however.

He spent five seasons in the NFL with the Jets, Chiefs and Bills.

During his three-year stint with Gang Green, Lee recorded 241 tackles and three interceptions in 40 games.
