France Six Nations 2026 squad: Galthié makes two changes to starting XV for trip to Wales

France’s Six Nations 2026 squad arrives in Cardiff on the back of a convincing 36-14 victory over Ireland, and will be looking to take that momentum into their next game as they chase a second successive Six Nations trophy.

Head coach Fabien Galthié’s selection suggests Wales are in for a torrid Sunday afternoon under the Principality Stadium roof, as he’s unleashing most of the XV who made life so difficult for the Irish in Paris.

The only changes to the starting line-up are in the centres, where Émilien Gailleton and Fabien Brau-Boirie get the nod over Nicolas Depoortere and Yoram Moefana. There are also newcomers among the replacements, with spots on the bench for Maxime Lamothe, Thibaud Flament and Noah Nene.

In an unchanged pack, Galthié has selected a front row of Jean-Baptiste Gros, Julien Marchand and Dorian Aldegheri, ahead of locks Charles Ollivon and Mickaël Guillard. Jelonch starts at number 8, with François Cros and Oscar Jegou either side of him as flankers.

Scrum-half and captain Antoine Dupont partners in-form number 10 Matthieu Jalibert once again. The aforementioned Émilien Gailleton and Fabien Brau-Boirie line up in midfield, while Thomas Ramos starts at full-back, alongside wings Théo Attissogbe and Louis Bielle-Biarrey (last season’s record try scorer),

There’s a 6-2 split on the bench, where Lamothe, Flament and Nene are joined by Rodrigue Neti, Régis Montagne, Emmanuel Meafou, Lenni Nouchi and Baptiste Serin.

Wales v France kicks off at 3.10pm GMT on Sunday 15 February, with live coverage on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and RTÉ and RTÉ Player in Ireland.
