TOWIE star Gemma Collins’ life wasn’t always so glamourous as her fiancé Rami Hawash even paid her a daily allowance so she would be able to quit her job and seek fame

Gemma Collins has revealed the extent to which her fiancé, Rami Hawash, has supported her over the years, as he paid her to give up her “normal” job. The TOWIE icon, 44, shot to fame thanks to the hit reality TV show when she joined in 2011.

She has lived her life in the spotlight for years and is busy planning her future with fiancé Rami. However, things were not always as glamorous for Gemma.

The TV star met Rami before entering the limelight, when she had a very different career. Gemma decided to reveal all in a gushing social media post as she thanked her fiancé for his support over the years as they prepare for a new TV chapter together.

“My FOREVER LOVE,” she declared. “Our own show our exciting journey everything has come to us at the right time. Years ago when I met Rami I was selling cars! I then gave it all up for £50 a day but it was the best risk I took, and wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Gemma added: “Rami would always say to me you’re gonna make it, you will be successful and would give me money for my hair make up outfit.”

Gemma continued: “He would give me £100 every morning to get to filming. He supported me.” Fans reacted to Gemma’s post as one said: “So happy you have found your forever love and that he supports and cherishes you.”

Another added: “That’s lovely Gemma xxx.” Someone else commented: “Love this Gemma, you guys are lovely together xxx.” Gemma and Rami first enjoyed a romance in 2011, then again in 2014, and became engaged that year.

They soon split – but reconciled in 2021. Gemma and Rami got engaged once more and are busy preparing for a wedding. While they haven’t set a date, Gemma told the Mirror she is eying up 2026.

She told us: “Absolutely it will be 2026. I spoke to my astrologer, and that is the year to get married. I’d like it very mythical, actually. I’d like fairies. I’m obsessed with Maleficent , you know the movie? So I’d like a woodland setting, I think. Very like boho but magical.”

Rami is already a father to a son named Tristan, whom Gemma affectionately refers to as a stepson and frequently shares photos and videos of her doting on him online. Over the weekend, Gemma teased a big move for her and her family.

She had enjoyed attending the party of a close friend who turned 40, and also undertook step-mother duties as she took her fiancé Rami Hawash’s son to the dentist. Among the highlights of her weekend, Gemma shared a life update that could take fans by surprise.
