Vikings (+3) over GIANTS

The Giants looked like a team that quit on the 2025 season last Sunday at MetLife Stadium against the lowly Commanders, barely putting up any resistance against a division rival that had lost eight straight games and was starting backup quarterback Marcus Mariota.

The Vikings are not a good team but they are playing better, having won two straight games.

This may be the spot for J.J. McCarthy to finally remember that Justin Jefferson is on his team, and Minnesota will be able to run the ball at will against Big Blue’s embarrassing run defense.

Giants rookie Jaxson Dart’s play has dipped since returning from his concussion, and he gets a tough challenge this week against Brian Flores’ exotic defense.

The Vikings should win this game easily and extend the Giants’ misery, but at least a loss will keep the Giants as the holders of the No. 1 pick.

Chargers (+2.5) over COWBOYS

We are backing the Chargers for their fifth consecutive game, having won three straight backing them.

It’s possible the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoff race by the time this game kicks off Saturday and even if not, their odds are close to zero that they can sneak in the dance.

Los Angeles, though, has a lot to play for, especially if it wants to have a shot at winning the AFC West over the AFC-leading Broncos.

Betting on the NFL?

The Chargers are playing quite well lately, knocking off the Super Bowl participants in back-to-back weeks and also destroying the Raiders.

The Cowboys’ defense has regressed in recent weeks, including last time out when the unit allowed McCarthy to have a strong game.

Los Angeles should escape Dallas with a win and maintain pace in the loaded AFC.

2025 record: 10-18-2
Last week: 2-0; Chargers (W); Bills (W)
