A five-year-old girl has died and a nine-year-old boy is in hospital after an ATV rollover on a rural Queensland property.
The girl was thrown from the buggy shortly before 6pm on Tuesday at the private property on Chinchilla Tara Road in Chinchilla, 3½ hours north-west of Brisbane.
Three ambulances were called to the property to treat the two children, but the young girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy was taken by ambulance in a stable condition to Tara Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the incident.
