A brand new Gogglebox series is airing this week and a beloved family have confirmed they will be making an appearance
Gogglebox fans have been left delighted after a family confirmed their return for the new series.
Since the Channel 4 programme began way back in 2013, it has introduced us to several iconic families up and down the country: from Giles Wood and Mary Killen in Wiltshire to the Siddiqui clan in Derby.
However, we have also said goodbye to several beloved stars, including former married couple Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig-Webb and Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle from Glasgow, who were not asked to return last year.
And on Friday (February 6), Gogglebox’s brand new series is airing and will see several Channel 4 stars back on screens – and that includes the Plummer brothers from Bristol.
The trio – Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan – joined the cast back in 2016, and it didn’t take them long to become firm favourites with viewers thanks to their witty banter.
Confirming their comeback on the new series, the boys shared a video on Instagram of them holding a flickering candle in the dark, then the lights came on to reveal them still holding it. They then declared: “We’re back!”
The Plummer brothers captioned the post: “Guess who’s back… Gogglebox returns for a brand new series this Friday at 9pm on @channel4.” And as expected, it didn’t take long for fans to share their excitement.
One person wrote: “Yessss IVE BEEN MISSING YALL.” Someone else added: “Really looking forward to seeing you guys again.” A third chimed in: “Looking forward to Friday, boys, can’t wait to see you all.” Echoing their thoughts, another smitten follower said: “Finally!”

In light of Roisin and Joe’s Gogglebox departure last year, the show welcomed several new faces to its cast, like Jake and Calum from Glasgow and the Gordon family from Surrey.
Other new stars included the likes of married couple Andrew and Alfie from the Cotswolds and mother-and-daughter-in-law team Sara and Lara from Yorkshire.
It is understood that the newbies are all returning for the new series too, as well as fan favourites like Lee and Jenny from Hull, the Malone family from Manchester and siblings Simon and Jane.
Gogglebox airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
