Gordon Ramsay, 59, and wife Tana, 51, have remained tight-lipped on the family fallout until today as they both break their silence on Caroline and Mark Peaty’s wedding exclusion

Gordon Ramsay says he wants to sit down with Adam Peaty’s family to ‘draw a line in the sand’. The superstar chef and wife Tana hope to travel to Nottingham to see the mum and dad of their daughter’s new husband following their controversial exclusion from their Christmas wedding.

After months of public fallout, the Olympian married Holly in late December and while his mum and members of his immediate family were shunned from the lavish celebration as the pair tied the knot at Bath Abbey.

His heartbroken mother Caroline revealed on the eve of the ceremony that the fallout had felt like ‘they have cut my heart out’ as the feud raged and until now, Gordon has maintained his silence. But he has now spoken for the first time and says he wants to have a proper conversation Adam’s mother and his father, Mark.

The roots of the Peaty family conflict go back to September 2024, when Adam and Holly snubbed wider members of the Peaty family by not inviting them to their engagement party. Caroline was also not invited to Holly’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds last month, even though the bride’s mother, Tana, and friends including Victoria Beckham, were asked to be there.

Now, Gordon has spoken and insisted he and his wife have “done nothing wrong” and treated Adam’s family “like royalty”. Talking to MailOnline, the TV star said things can be resolved. ‘”I would like to go up to Nottingham with Tana and see them and draw a line in the sand,” he says.

“It was Adam and Holly’s wishes for them not to attend and so we had to respect that. There’s stuff they need to sort out as parents. That’s nothing to do with Tana and me. But we are very mindful we want to move on and allow Holly and Adam to continue starting their lives together.”

Tana added: “We’ve had fallouts within my family, there are no winners. I’m so grateful we got through mine and have happy relationships again.” Tana’s father Christopher was sent to jail nearly a decade ago for conspiring to hack into a computer system relating to Gordon’s business empire. “You don’t have to be best friends, but be civil. You can’t be happy when there’s a fallout going on. It’s really negative, and no one wants that,” said the mum.

Adam’s parents weren’t the only ones impacted by the ban. He locked his great-aunt and her husband out of his wedding even though they had already spent hundreds on attending his big day, it was claimed.

Despite the excited couple booking accommodation, purchasing outfits and gifts for the Olympian and his soon-to-be wife Holly, he changed his mind over Christmas and told them they were uninvited, according to reports.

Since their big day, Adam and Holly have looked to put the family fallout behind them and headed off on a lavish honeymoon in Mauritius. Gordon has since revealed that he and Tana were invited to tag along on the couple’s first trip as newlyweds.
