The 21-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin has spoken about cosmetic work she has had done in a candid video for Vogue about her everyday skincare routine

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple Martin, has candidly revealed the cosmetic procedure she has undergone.

The 21-year-old has stepped into the limelight following her famous parents’ footsteps, juggling a modelling career with her studies and sorority life at Vanderbilt University.

She recently lifted the lid on the secrets behind her looks, sharing her ‘everyday stressed out college student skincare’ routine in a video for Vogue. “Time to come clean. I got lip filler one time,’ the celebrity offspring confessed. “I think I got it when I was 18. I just thought that it was too big.”

She noted that ‘everyone seems to think that I have crazy lip filler,’ but maintained that in reality ‘I just pout my lips a lot and I put on a lip of lip liner.’ In another part of the video, Apple, who has a 19 year old brother named Moses, demonstrated her ‘lip filler optical illusion’ of applying liner ‘right above my lip.’ She said: “Once you get the natural shape of your lips just go a tiny, tiny bit above it.”

After completing her makeup look with a plumping lip gloss, she playfully told her followers: “You can see the lips are already plumping. Not lip filler, thank you.”

At the start of the video, Apple, who had become somewhat of an elusive meme online, commented: “I feel like this is the first time people are hearing me talk.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow has never publicly admitted to having any invasive plastic surgery, although she has acknowledged using laser treatments and Botox. When a fan queried her on Instagram a couple of years ago if she had ever.

When asked if she had ever used Botox, she responded: “God yes. Both successfully and unsuccessfully I’m afraid.”

Apple’s recent revelation about her past lip filler comes just a day after Paltrow confessed to having a controversial $50,000 blood-filtering treatment in Chicago.

The procedure, known as therapeutic plasma exchange, is a ‘detox’ designed to remove substances like mould and microplastics from the blood.

Blood is taken from the body, and the plasma containing the harmful materials is separated and replaced with fresh plasma.

Paltrow explained to Richard Eden of the Daily Mail: “I’d been going through lots of health stuff with that kind of ambiguous chronic stuff that medicine normally has a harder time dealing with: chronic fatigue, brain fog.”

The Goop founder expressed her fascination with the idea that ‘we could filter out things in our blood that were making us more sick.’

She insisted that she ‘felt amazing after’ the procedure, which left her feeling an ‘immediate unburdening and clarity and lightness.’

Since its inception in 2008, Goop has become notorious for advice ranging from the quirky to the downright strange, encouraging women to steam clean their vaginas and speculating about a ‘Link Between Underwire Bras And Breast Cancer.’

However, the brand has continued to grow, even launching its own Netflix series The Goop Lab five years ago.

Paltrow parted ways with Martin in 2014, coining the term ‘conscious uncoupling,’ which was widely mocked, but the pair remained amicable co-parents.

Apple has been stepping into the spotlight in recent years, making her fashion show debut in 2023 when she sat front row at the Chanel spectacular in Paris.

She was presented to society in 2024 at the annual ‘nepo baby’ gathering Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, escorted by Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.

Her companion at that occasion is the heir to a noble family from the former Habsburg Empire and the son of filmmaker Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who directed the Oscar-winning German film The Lives Of Others about the Stasi.
