The much-loved presenter stood down from This Morning and Dancing on Ice got the chop last year.
You Bet! – the big-money revival of the 90s hit fronted by Matthew Kelly – will not return, ITV have confirmed. The show was revived in 2024 with Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern as co-hosts with old mix of celebrities and huge stunts. It started off based in a studio before switching to a ‘touring’ format.
An ITV spokesperson told The Sun: “You Bet! returned to ITV in 2024 with a peak overnight audience of 4.4m. Both You Bet! and You Bet! On Tour are available to watch on ITVX. There are currently no plans for a new series of You Bet! On Tour.”
The move leaves Holly Willoughby – who was once a near-daily fixture on ITV thanks to shows such as This Morning and Dancing on Ice, without a hosting gig. However, she stood down from This Morning after 14 years, five months after Phillip Schofield left having admitted lying about an affair with a younger colleague.
She continued fronting Dancing on Ice – again with Stephen Mulhern, who stepped into the Phillip Schofield role in the wake of the scandal, but that show was given the chop last year.
Another show she fronted – Celebrity Bear Hunt, which she presented with Bear Grylls and saw stars dropped in the Central American jungle to test their survival skills – also got axed after a series.
Bear later explained the programme was fun to make but cost a fortune. He said: “Netflix were really happy. But it was a big, expensive show. There was a change at Netflix, high up, and everyone likes a new project. And I would say that was a 49-51 vote, and it just came down on the wrong side of that.”

Holly, 45, has business interests outside of TV – she runs a Meghan Markle-esque lifestyle brand called Wylde Moon selling candles, diffusers and even perfume.
Her husband is Dan Baldwin, whose telly production house Hungry Bear is behind some of the biggest shows of TV including Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Gladiators and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
It also made Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof, which Holly presented with comedian Lee Mack. It saw celebs including EastEnders‘ Tamzin Outhwaite and Strictly’s Dianne Buswell taking on a series of sub-zero challenges. It was cancelled after just one series in 2024.
