This week, Emirates Woman speaks to Jill Cnudde Laeremans, the founder of BBODY, a wellness platform that has everything from Premium Ceremonial Grade matcha to NADH capsules.
Welcome to the Emirates Woman weekly series ‘How I got my job as…’ where we speak to some incredible entrepreneurs and businesswomen both based in the UAE and globally to find out about their career paths that led them to where they are now; what their daily routines look like; the advice they’d give to those starting out; and the hurdles they’ve had to overcome.
Having launched the brand in 2018 along with her husband, the platform started out of a passion to fix her lifestyle. From making her own juices to finding the best natural supplements, it was important for Cnuddle to ensure women feel both healthy and positive.
Now expanding to the UAE, her brand is gaining momentum worldwide, as it helped thousands of people transform their lives, and feel the best version of themselves.
To delve into her journey as an entrepreneur, Emirates Woman sat down with her to see how it all began.
What was your favourite subject at school?
I always loved sports. It was the one class I really looked forward to every week. I wasn’t the best student, to be honest. I was much more of a doer than a thinker. I loved creating things, and keeping my attention on one task was nearly impossible for me. However, that restless energy and creativity turned out to be my biggest strength later in life. It’s what made me an entrepreneur.
What was your first job?
My very first job was selling fruits and vegetables at the local market. My parents always taught me the value of working hard and earning your own money. I had to shout to people to come and buy the best fruits, completely out of my comfort zone, but that’s where I learned everything about confidence, communication, and sales. This gave me the money to start my first online swimwear brand called The Girl Next Door. I loved the idea of helping women feel confident in their own skin combined with fashion. Around that time, I also began making fresh juices at home to get healthier. I wanted to boost my immunity, become fit, and feel more energised. After watching a documentary about juice cleanses and superfoods, and how they cured several diseases, I started experimenting with different ingredients. The results were instant. My skin glowed, I felt focused and light, and people around me started asking for my secret. That’s how BikiniBody was born. A mix of bikinis and juices, helping women look and feel their best from the inside out. What began as a small experiment in my kitchen quickly evolved into BBODY, a full wellness brand built on science, beauty, and balance. Today we’ve helped over 100,000 people feel their best, with products ranging from matcha and teas to our award-winning Natural Supplements 2.0 line, which was recently named Best Natural Wellness Brand 2025 Benelux.
What brought you to Dubai?
I’d love to say it was purely for business, but the truth is it’s the whole lifestyle. The energy, the safety, the sunshine and the service. Dubai just has this special vibe that makes you want to dream bigger. We’re attending Beautyworld Middle East with our own BBODY booth, which is a huge step for us. Our goal is to find strong international distributors and bring European quality wellness to Dubai and beyond. I truly believe this region is ready for high-performing, natural products that deliver real results. From skin health and gut balance to energy and longevity, BBODY has helped thousands of people transform their wellbeing, and personally, I’ve even managed to reverse my biological age by five years. So yes, Dubai feels like the perfect place for our next chapter.
What inspired you to create BBODY?
Honestly, myself. My own results were the reason I started. The transformation I felt physically and mentally was so powerful that I wanted others to experience the same. It started purely out of passion. I wanted to help people feel confident, energized, and in control of their health. When you see someone’s skin improve, achieve their body goals, see their mood lift, or their energy return, it’s the best motivation to keep innovating. Some of my first customers are still with me five years later. That’s the biggest compliment I could ever get.
Tell us about the concept.
BBODY is all about bringing science, passion and nature together. Every product starts with a real-life problem such as low energy, hormonal imbalance, poor sleep, aging, or difficulties with losing weight, and we create a natural solution that works fast and effectively. We source everything from its origin. For example: ceremonial matcha from our farm in Japan, baobab from Namibia, collagen from Iceland. It’s about purity and performance. Our Natural Supplements 2.0 line focuses on longevity, bio-backing your age with innovative ingredients, energy, hormones, and detox with strong formulations and excellent absorption. We don’t just sell products; we sell results and routines that fit into real life.
What are the key elements of your role?
I’m the founder, but also the marketer, the creator, and sometimes even the cleaning lady! I like to stay close to every detail. I still test every product myself before it launches, and if I have a good result, it has to blow my mind before I can promote and launch it because BBODY is personal to me. Every innovation is sold out in less than 24 hours because of my own strong result and experience. We now have a team of over 30 amazing people, from doctors and scientists to creatives and logistics, but I’ll always stay hands-on together with my husband. He is the number guy and I’m the creative one. My job is to keep innovating, telling our story, and making sure everything we do stays authentic and high quality. At the end of the day, BBODY isn’t just a brand. It’s a lifestyle built on real results, hard work, and a lot of heart.
Talk us through your daily routine.
I never skip a day without my supplements. They’re my non-negotiables. I take iron because I have a deficiency, and I always tell people: get your blood tested so you know what your body truly needs. NAD+ and NMN are my absolute musts for energy. If I skip them, I feel it immediately. Spermidine is my current obsession; mark my words, it’s going to be huge within a year. It’s a powerful longevity ingredient that helps reverse biological aging. Then come my hormone balance caps. After becoming a mom, I really had to work on that one. I make sure to prioritise protein, always add collagen to my shakes, and spike my water with electrolytes throughout the day. I drink matcha instead of coffee, use red light therapy masks, and start my mornings with journaling and grounding. No phone until that’s done. It keeps me balanced, focused, and calm, even on my busiest days.
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Being an entrepreneur is like a professional sport. It demands everything from you.bNever give up, keep innovating, and show your face. Share the highs, but also the lows. People connect to real stories, not just success. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is your business. If you truly love what you do, keep going. The results will follow.
Tell us more about BBODY’s philosophy and products.
At BBODY, we don’t treat symptoms. We go to the root cause. Every product is born from a real problem I’ve faced myself, or someone close to me. For example, our Hormone Balance supplement came from watching my mom struggle with mood swings from conventional hormone support. We created a natural alternative that actually works, and it’s now one of our best sellers among women with natural cycles or in peri and menopause. Our protein shakes were designed for women. They are light, feminine, with no bloating, no sucralose, balanced fiber, and a beautiful taste profile. We also focus deeply on absorption, the form, the dosage, the delivery, because we want our clients to feel results fast and see lasting change. Clean formulas, real results, that’s what we stand for.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Go through it. Right through it.Even when things get hard, communicate, stay calm, and work smarter, not harder.
And the worst?
“Do it for the money.” I’ve learned that chasing numbers or saying yes to every offer never ends well. Not every partnership is good for your brand; some can poison your reputation. Be selective. Protect your brand’s integrity at all costs.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Cash flow, as growth costs money. My husband and I still completely own BBODY and remain completely loan free, which we’re very proud of. However, with our rapid expansion into new countries and big retail chains, the need for more stock and bigger investments grows every day. It’s a good problem to have, but still a challenge.
What lies ahead for BBODY?
International expansion. I want to see BBODY billboards around the world, to walk into a Sephora or Boots and see our brand on the shelves. We’ve already launched in Holland & Barrett, partnered with several F1 retail chains, and opened an office in New York with sales starting in LA. Globalisation is the next step. We’ve already won several awards, helped over 100,000 happy clients, and proven our impact in Belgium. Now it’s time to take that success worldwide.
