This week, Emirates Woman speaks to Caitlyn Princen, Founder of Longevity Muse, a platform that blends mindfulness, wellness, beauty and lifestyle. Designed to be the voice in holistic wellness, this community promises transformational experiences for everyone.
Welcome to the Emirates Woman weekly series ‘How I got my job as…’ where we speak to some incredible entrepreneurs and businesswomen both based in the UAE and globally to find out about their career paths that led them to where they are now; what their daily routines look like; the advice they’d give to those starting out; and the hurdles they’ve had to overcome.
In a world where balance and beauty intertwine, Longevity Muse continues to expand its vision of mindful living. In collaboration with Humanity Code, the brand unveils The Sunset Serenity Drop, a six-piece capsule designed for women who move through life with intention, style, and confidence. More than a wellness partnership, this collection embodies the synergy of mindfulness and modern luxury, celebrating radiant, self-aware women who lead with purpose.
So, to delve into her journey as an entrepreneur, Emirates Woman sat down with her to see how it all began.
What was your favourite subject at school?
Art was my favorite subject in school. During every break you’d find me in the art room, it was my escape. Looking back, I think that’s where my love for aesthetics and storytelling really began.
What was your first job?
My first job was in PR here in Dubai, working with luxury fashion, beauty, and jewellery brands. It strengthened my foundation in integrated communications, client servicing, and luxury brand marketing, while deepening my understanding of the fashion and beauty landscape in the Middle Eastern market. It also allowed me to build a strong, valuable network, connections that continue to shape my journey today.
What brought you to Dubai?
After finishing my master’s degree in New York, I was craving a change. Dubai felt like a natural transition for me, it’s a city that’s constantly evolving, with so much creative energy and opportunity. It allowed me to combine my background in communications with my growing passion for wellness.
What inspired you to enter the space and launch your brand?
It came from a genuine need to feel better. Navigating PCOS led me to explore alternative ways of healing and, in the process, I found myself adapting to an entirely new way of living. Wellness became less about fixing and more about understanding and rediscovering my body to try and find balance in small, consistent rituals. Longevity Muse grew naturally from that journey, as a space that reflects the harmony between beauty, health, and mindfulness.
Talk us through the concept?
Longevity Muse is a holistic lifestyle platform that merges mindfulness, wellness, and beauty into everyday living. It’s about showing that health and elegance can coexist, and that being well doesn’t have to feel clinical. It’s rituals, routines, and mindset shift’s that help women (and men) reconnect with themselves and cultivate their most radiant, grounded energy.
What are the key elements of your role?
I wear many hats as a founder, creator, and strategist. One day I’m planning brand partnerships, the next I’m writing content. But at the core, my role is about storytelling and creating experiences, visuals, and conversations that inspire women to live more intentionally.
Talk us through your daily routine.
I’m a big believer in rituals. My mornings always start with meditation, journaling, movement (whether that’s a walk, gym session, or a Pilates class) followed by my matcha. Then I dive into work, content creation, or meetings. I try to incorporate one act of self-care daily which can be a massage, a walk at sunset, or just a quiet moment to recharge. It keeps me grounded and inspired.
What advice do you have for anyone looking to follow in the same footsteps?
Don’t follow trends or give in to pressure, from society, or what’s popular online. Authenticity is your biggest asset. Stay rooted in your truth, because that’s what makes your brand and your voice resonate with people on a real level.
Tell us more about the pieces and services?
I just launched a capsule collection in collaboration with Humanity Code. Beyond that, I’m working toward expanding into wellness offerings, which include one-on-one coaching sessions, curated retreats, and collaborations with aligned brands in the wellness, fashion, and beauty space.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
To always follow my intuition, because only I can truly know the right path for myself and my business.
And what is the worst?
To listen to everyone else’s advice. The moment you start living for other people’s expectations, that’s when you lose your authenticity and it becomes about performing.
What’s the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Like any startup, there have been pivots and moments of uncertainty. Building something with purpose takes time, but I’d rather grow slowly and authentically than fast and hollow. It’s about trusting the process and remembering why I started.
What’s lies ahead for the brand?
So much. I’m expanding Longevity Muse into a digital and physical ecosystem, launching the website, building partnerships with aligned wellness, beauty, and fashion brands, and curating holistic retreats centered on self-transformation with my mentors. I also plan to offer 1:1 wellness coaching and continue sharing this message through panels, podcasts, and community-driven projects. This next chapter is all about embodying my evolution, and creating experiences that help women reconnect with themselves and radiate their inner-muse.
